If you’re in the market for a ‘Bagger’ then your choices, and indeed horizons, are about to get a lot bigger. One of Irelands most prolific distributors of motorcycle accessories and clothing, AKB, has recently started retailing Indian motorcycles from their branded showroom here in Dublin.

The brand is steeped in history with the first Indian motorcycles rolling off a production line all the way back in 1901. They may have heritage, but they also have the kudos of being technically up to date. They’ve managed to do this while still making cruisers with some of the highest torque figures in their market segment.

A new showroom has been built here in Dublin where, not only do the lads offer an array of bikes to test ride, but they also stock a full range of accessories and clothing from Indian. Alongside this, the rest of the range from AKB including Roof helmets, the rather excellent Kriega luggage, Alpine ear protection, Stylmartin footwear, Macna and John Doe clothing, as well as Eska gloves, Battery Tender and Scala Rider communication kits are also available.

In the meantime the finance companies have been engaged, staff hired, and, the new showroom is built. AKB can be contacted on 01 897 1167, Franklin motorcycles on 01 538 5005.
